Mermaids living in SoCal. The Aquadolls were founded in January 2012 by Melissa Brooks, the lead singer and writer of the band. Shortly thereafter, Melissa began recording bedroom demos of the songs she had been writing with the help of Ryan Frailich and formed a relationship with Burger Records, who released The Aquadolls We Are Free EP in 2013.
