1989 1st. movement ~ Allegro 2nd. movement ~ Andante cantabile 3rd. movement ~ Allegretto grazioso The Piano Sonata in B-flat major, K. 333 (315c), was composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in Linz at the end of 1783. Once again Barenboim shows crisply enunciated finger-work while avoiding Romantic period overtones. . Barenboim, of course, has been a major artist as both pianist and conductor for decades, and is admirably qualified to give a very fine rendition of these sonatas.
